Saturday, August 9, 10:00 a.m. - Public group sketching outing during the Fêtes de la Nouvelle-France. Meet at 10:00 a.m. at Place Royale or 1:30 p.m. at UNESCO park. Free, open to the public, and festival pass not required. event coordinated by Robert Poiré of the Collectif des ateliers libres en arts visuels de Québec (www.calavq.org).

Saturday, August 16, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Public group sketching at Plage-Jacques-Cartier. Entry and parking are free, but it is advisable to arrive early as the location is popular. Meet at the parking lot entrance at the bottom of Chemin du Pavillon. Event will be held the next day if it rains. Event coordinated by Eric Boudreault of the Collectif des ateliers libres en arts visuels de Québec (www.calavq.org).
Saturday, August 23, 10:30 a.m. I will be leading a sketching workshop for kids at the Morrin Centre. This event is part of the closing party for the Morrin Centre's summer Book Quest. Registration required; click here for details.
