If you are curious about the event's history, check out this article recently published in the Quebec Chronicle-Telegraph. It appears the event was founded by the National Assembly of Quebec, and has since become a nation-wide concept.
When you take a look at the calendar, you'll find historic houses and museums, street performances, ralleys, and more. Yvan recently mentioned a free figure drawing session that he'll be helping with, and I'm particularly interested in sketching some of the specimens in the Morrin Centre's recently restored turn-of-the-century science lab.
IF YOU GO OUT SKETCHING THIS WEEKEND, AT A CULTURAL EVENT, PLEASE CONSIDER SHARING YOUR SKETCH(ES) HERE!
You can post a link below (in the comments), or email them directly to drawntoquebec@gmail.com.
We'd love to compile a post with a visual record of the events here in Quebec City. If you are somewhere else in the province (or anywhere in Canada), feel free to share your sketches, too!
