Sketching at the Rendez-vous Naval
The annual Rendez-vous Naval takes place from June 7 to 10, and offers a great sketching opportunity for all experience levels in all types of media (paints, pen and ink, graphite, etc.). All experience levels are welcome, including “brand new beginners.”
Sketching sessions are scheduled for Saturday, June 9, from 10:00 AM - noon, and Sunday, June 10, from 1:00 - 3:00 PM. Bring your sketching materials, and maybe a chair, and be prepared for whatever the weather brings. We will meet at the main entrance to the Naval Museum (which faces the river). If you arrive later, just look for a group of sketchers.
RSVPs are appreciated, but not required. Contact us directly if you have questions, or would like to RSVP. You can also RSVP in the comments section, below.
Please note that these sketching sessions are separate from the organized events of the Rendez-vous. Activities on the Rendez-vous Naval program start at 9:30 AM, and run until til 6:00 PM. Visit www.rendezvousnaval.com for full program.
